Board memberGerald (Gerry) Brown
Mr. Brown is President of the Association of Canadian Community Colleges. As the national and international voice of Canada's 150 community colleges and technical institutes, the Association's mandate is to advocate on behalf of its members, provide value added membership services and manage an impressive portfolio of national and international projects. Mr. Brown, who holds a Master's Degree from McGill University, brings a wealth of experience to the post-secondary education sector and a long history of support for the college community to his position. Mr. Brown is presently an active participant on a number of important boards of directors. They include the Canadian Millennium Scholarship Foundation, CANARIE, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade's Educational Marketing Advisory Committee, Aboriginal Human Resource Council of Champions, and is the founding member and Past Chair of the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics. He was also the founding member and Chair of the Canadian College Presidents' Network and its Presidents' Academy. Mr. Brown's enthusiasm, vision and leadership ensure that ACCC will continue to strive for quality and excellence in serving its membership as partner, advocate, marketer and forum. Contact details:
